I am a yoga teacher and student based in Napa, CA. I have a dog named Dilla, a cat named Scooter, and lots of plants. I hate getting my picture taken and hearing the sound of my own voice. I love knitting!
One day I hope to train in India, as well as have an animal sanctuary where I can also practice and teach yoga. #lifegoals
Yoga has been healing for me, and so I want to show that it can be healing for others. For me, Yoga is a direct portal to happiness, even if just for a moment, it's a ritual, it's magic. Yoga is also a discipline and hard work. We begin to feel and see the changes in our own bodies and minds, and then start to notice the world around us in a different way~as a response to our own personal practice. We breathe better, we feel better, we know ourselves better, and we act better.
I have been influenced by many teachers from many different lineages and backgrounds. I have practiced Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Forrest Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Dharma Yoga. I have trained in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga.
Currently I am delving deeper into the world of yoga anatomy, functional mobility and yoga conditioning.
I have explored different pathways in order to expand my own practice from the physical to the meditative, and am always looking to grow and expand more.
I find inspiration from animals, plants, the stars and planets, tarot, art, music, love, food, nature and the wild unknown.
